Workshop 1: Values-Based Group Guidelines

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

This workshop focuses exclusively on normalizing conflict in teams and establishing values-based group guidelines. Participants will work individually, in small groups and as a class to identify their individual and team values and how they manifest as behaviours which differ depending on the context the team is together in. This helps with the prevention of conflict as expected behaviours are discussed and agreed to as a group. It provides a platform for accountability when guidelines are not followed.

For example: Team value: Trust;  Guideline: We will talk to each other when we’re feeling excluded. Context: Team events.
