Facilitated Mediation

If you believe there is an issue that could be resolved through mediation, you can request the services of Now What Facilitation. The cost of this service is covered by viaSport with the support of the Province of British Columbia for any Accredited, Recognized, or Affiliated sports organization.

Once we receive the form, you will be contacted within 48 hours to discuss the issue that needs resolving. A facilitator will then reach out to each party you provide contact details for to determine if everyone is willing to participate in mediation. Once willingness has been established, the facilitator will arrange a second phone call with each party to discuss the issues. Afterward, the mediation meeting will be scheduled with all parties involved. Our goal is to hold the mediation within 2 weeks of the initial referral.

We firmly believe that conflict is a normal function of every team. Managed effectively it can help a team grow and function at a high level. Our training supports teams to communicate more effectively and address conflict early on so that it doesn't become detrimental.

We recognize that sports participants bring a variety of skills. As such we strive to create workshops that support the unique development of the group.
