I strongly advocate for embracing imperfections, fostering a culture of continuous learning and unlearning, and recognizing that it's not about being the best but always striving to do our best.

Throughout my 25-year career, I've been dedicated to supporting children, families, social workers, and service providers within the provincial child welfare system. My journey has also led me to the Justice Institute, where I facilitate training in foundational social work skills and collaborative practice.

As a mother of a national-level athlete, I've witnessed firsthand the myriad protective factors and benefits that participation in sports can offer children. This belief drives my passion for the positive impact of sports teams on young lives.
