I am a Victoria-based lawyer practising sports dispute resolution, real estate, and estate planning. I'm keenly interested in all dispute resolution facets, particularly arbitration, mediation, and sports. I continue to work towards obtaining additional qualifications and education to help her in this field and her other areas of practice.

I'm finally contributing to society as a gainfully employed taxpayer after spending an arguably unreasonable amount of time collecting degrees, which include a JD (2018) and LLM (2020) (both from Dalhousie), a BA (Carleton, 2007) and an MA (UVic, 2009). I have a propensity to ruin the utility of a general degree by continuing my education in specialized topics (I also really like reading). Before attending law school, I worked in publishing and government communications.

I grew up in Wentworth, Nova Scotia. I like to spend as much time as possible outside biking, running, and skiing (though that is slightly less accessible than ideal in Victoria). Some could say I have an unhealthy addiction to chocolate and am always happy to escape to faraway lands for adventures. I am on the board of directors for Nordiq Canada and the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame and Museum.
