Team Workshops

What IS IT?

Traditional team building (going for dinner or bowling) may be fun, however does little to give team members the chance to get to know one another better. Too often inter-personal conflict and a lack of skilled leadership within the team causes significant problems. A crazy amount of energy is taken up trying to get the team on track. Team Workshops provide a comfortable (and fun!) environment for a team to work together and develop a clear understanding on how to communicate and manage conflict. This is an healthy and productive way for the team to talk, understand each other and build trust. 


We offer three different Team-Building and Conflict Management Workshops to fit your needs. Each workshops is outcome-focused and team members will:

  • Understand the difference between disagreement and conflict in the context of groups

  • Learn to identify and manage conflict

  • Learn effective communication skills

  • Develop alignment on team goals and guidelines 


A trained facilitator will guide the team through a series of exercises during the workshop. 

Introductory Workshop:

For teams who have limited time and wish to have an overview of conflict dynamics, learn the basics of effective communication and the principals of team building. Teams will come away knowing each other better and will have been introduced to the skills necessary to manage conflict when it arises.

Time Frame: 2 Hours

Pricing: $400/team

Skill Building Workshop:

For teams who wish to have a more comprehensive look at the dynamics of team formation, communication and conflict management. Participants will identify their conflict style and understand how it relates to the styles of their teammates. There will be a focus on skill development and participants will come away confident in their ability to work together to achieve optimal results. They will anticipate roadblocks and have the skills to mitigate them.

Time Frame: 3 hours

Pricing: $500/team

Leadership WorkshoP:

For Team Captains and other leadership. Strong teams have effective leaders. An investment in these individuals will mitigate conflict, provide mentorship, increase retention and develop strong, winning teams. This workshop covers the principals of leadership and theories behind team building. Leaders will learn and practice skills that will assist in effectively working with different personalities to develop team cohesion.

Time Frame: 5 hours

Pricing: $700 session
